Yes, on-site parking is available for £3 per 24 hours — please follow the parking signs to avoid a ticket, as Grain Studios cannot take responsibility for any fines. Alternatively, there is limited on-street parking nearby.

Yes, children are welcome in the studio. However, we’re unable to accommodate pets.

Yes! We have a Bluetooth speaker available, so you’re welcome to play your own music while you create.

We just ask that you keep the volume at a respectful level and be mindful of other units in the building.

Absolutely! We’ve got a handy pop-up changing room so you can get ready comfortably and in private.

Not at the moment, though this is something we are looking into offering in the future. In the meantime, feel free to bring your own photographer or creative team to your session!

We do not provide in-house podcasting equipment (microphones, mixers, or recorders) at this time, so you will need to bring your own gear.

Please also note that the studio is not 100% soundproof. While it is a quiet environment, you may hear occasional ambient noise from the neighbouring units.

For the best results, we recommend using dynamic microphones (which pick up less background noise than condenser mics) as they are much better at filtering out room ambiance.

Nope — the studio is self-service. You’ll receive clear instructions by email ahead of your session on how to access the studio. If you need any help on the day, you can reach us on 07542 463 964.

No stress! Please contact us at Bookings@grainstudios.co.uk as soon as possible. Bookings must be cancelled at least 24 hours before your scheduled start time to be eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will not be refunded.

For the safety of our guests and the protection of the space, the studio is equipped with 24/7 security cameras. To respect your privacy, these cameras do not record audio and are strictly used for insurance purposes and to monitor for damages or neglectful behavior.

Please note that the studio is one open space; for your privacy, we also provide a pop-up changing tent for all outfit changes. Cameras are never monitored in real-time unless an issue arises, ensuring your creative process remains uninterrupted.
